The Recruiters Wife

He got home at 9:15 PM tonight miracle of miracles!    The kids rushed to the door and said "What are you doing here?"   The sun was still up, just barely and he managed a "hi" to each of them, plopped on the couch said he didn't feel so hot, ate dinner, watched a little tv, and went to bed. 

Did he have a conversation with them?  No.  Did he go outside and play catch?  No   Did he even ask what they did with their day?  No. 

So they drifted back to the every evening activities of video games and bedtime.  So big deal, he was home before 10 WHO REALLY CARES AT THIS POINT?

BUT HEY, LOOKS LIKE THEY WILL MAKE MISSION, I wonder which night this weekend they will want to go drink to celebrate?  Probably the one night he has with me.
